Most of the peppers and tomatoes have either blooms or fruit on them, the zucchini is close to blooming, and everything else is coming along nicely.

Mid-Week
Here's a freshly planted "patio" tomato plant. Let's see how this one works out.
The path between the two beds is freshly mulched; we hope it stays weed free now. The asparagus beds were planted with some sunflower seeds today since only a couple of the asparagus are growing.
We put in a topsy-turvy tomato plant too! This is a sweet 100 cherry tomato.
Just a picture of the beds, all growing nicely.

Week two update: Who pea'd in the garden?
We have veggies growing!
Here is one of the sugar snap pea plants with a tiny little pea pod.
And two teeny tomatoes.
Now for the rest of the updates on the boxes:
Cukes are coming up all around the base of the ring and sugar snap peas are doing well.
There are several potato plants in this picture, look for the very dark green leaves.
This bed has lots of yellow onions! The pimiento pepper plant in the upper left is about to bloom and the tomato plant on the left is the one with the tiny tomatoes in the above picture.
The peppers and tomatoes are looking good, as is the cantaloupe! The evil squirrels have been digging up the green onion bulbs in this bed so we have been replanting them. The okra was planted in a set of three seedlings, but two of them were bitten off. I put red pepper flakes around the remaining okra to (hopefully) deter them.
Here is a closeup of the first asparagus! It's very thin and still pretty tiny, but at least we know they are growing. :)
